Highlight This Year’s Faves with Year >> Noted

We know you’ve raved over the spunky B&T paper and the exclusive pastel cardstock pieces of the Year >> Noted paper kit, but have you noticed the kit’s amazing stamp set? As the most expressive part of the kit, it’s worth seeing again and again on your projects.

This set is just the right tool for creating perfect captions, journaling spots, titles, headlines, and dates on your scrapbook pages. Its fun sentiments can become the inspiration for your journaling and even what photos you choose to display. They work seamlessly with the other pieces of the kit–especially the golden foil stickers—to help you note the moments that matter most.

See what we mean:

Year Noted scrapbook page

Take a look at this page, which shows just how nicely the kit works in a pocket scrapbooking format—the “cards” trimmed from the B&T paper fit perfectly into the 4″ x 6″ pockets of these Memory Protectors™. But the stamping is really the star here:

Embossed date stamp

This date stamp is a definite must-have for a scrapbooker. We’ve given it extra glam here with our Ranger™ Princess Gold embossing powder. The look matches the fun golden foil stickers that come with the kit so well you can hardly tell they aren’t the same material.

Year Noted page title

Stamps and golden foil stickers work hand-in-hand to create this title. Technically, those “Year” letters come from the negative spaces of the golden foil sheet, but we prefer to think of them as positive spaces. (It’s all in the eye of the beholder, right?)

Okay, the arrow looks stamped, but that is just a trick of the eye: it’s actually a piece trimmed from the zip strip. Of course, the set does include a great arrow stamp that matches that zip strip perfectly! (Wait for it…)

Year Noted scrapbook page

On this more traditional scrapbook page, the artist has taken the stamping up a notch with embossing to match it to the shimmer of the golden foil stickers again. Ooooh, shiny!

Check out the versatility of the dotted line stamps in this set. The image stamped across the bottom and middle of the page makes an understated border, while you’ve also got an image ideal for creating journaling lines. Top off your journaling with a few fancy bullet points made from golden foil stickers. Or, if you like a checkbox look, stamp a few the way you see them done on this page.

Arrow stamp

There’s that true arrow stamp! Told ya it was cute. A classic stamp image works great whether it is in the spotlight or playing a more subtle role as an accent.

Year Noted stamps

The clustering of the B&T trimmed cards makes a great backdrop for your photos, and stamping your favorite sentiments on them ties the whole page together nicely.

  1. In 2014 my daughter-in-laws took me on my first trip to Glacier National Park. So, so beautiful there. Went back with my hubby a few weeks later. In 2015 I look forward to more time spent there and anywhere my family is gathered.

  2. 2015 is shaping up to be a year of much change for us. I’m planning to use the “Year – Noted” Kit to document our family’s move from WA to Montana. School, job, and house hunting will kick us off, then room to document the steps in creating our new homestead. So excited!

  3. This summer I’ll be giving birth to our second child and moving to a new location, destination unknown at this time. Two important changes that definitely deserve documentation!

  4. This year my husband & I will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. I plan to make it a special year for us by doing little things throughout the year to show him how that my love for him continues to grow and grow…even after 20 years. We are also embarking on a new adventure this spring as we support our son in his hunt for the perfect college for him. We will be spending time throughout the spring months touring college campuses with him. He is our oldest so this is all new for us. It will be fun documenting our travels with him!

  5. The first thing that popped into my mind for 2014 was the loss of a dear friend due to pancreatic cancer. She was daignosed about 18 months prior to her death. During that time, our group of friends put living to the forfront and made plans to get together and do different events at least once a month. Through that focus we have become closer friends and have voewed to take advantage of everything life has to offer – so 2015 should only be better than 2014!

  6. Looking forward to a reunion of my Japanese cousins this year! It’s been a long time since we’ve spent any time together and we’re all excited to reconnect.

  7. What a beautiful pack! I forgot to add it to the last order I made. I ran my first 5k in 2014 and that was a huge milestone for me that I hope to scrapbook.

  8. I retired from doing Daycare after 20 years in 2014. 2015 holds so many new possibilities for myself and family.

  9. In 2014 my husband and I took our 4 kids to Disneyland for the first time. It was a magical 3 days that we will cherish always! It also gives me lots to scrapbook, well with 2 phones and 2 cameras worth of pictures to choose from 😉

  10. I plan on putting together a mini album to document my journey with blogging as a health advocate for the autoimmune disease, Lupus. Last year included co-hosting the first Canadian National Kubb Championship with my husband…looking forward to the second one this year! 🙂

  11. I am planning to celebrate all three of my grandchildren starting school (all different levels) for the first time with “Year Noted Kit”. Each one starting a new journey and a new milestone.

  12. Hubby and I had our 40th anniversary last summer. My 2 daughters and their better halves and my 2 grandkids and us all went to Disneyland. Had a wonderful time. Am just starting to think of how yo do some pages. We managed to visit a few beaches as well

  13. Although 2014 was an awesome year, 2015 promises to be even better! My husband is retiring after 36 years in the military and we are hoping to travel. I am planning on attending Album Retreat in Salt Lake City…..can’t wait to visit Utah for the first time!!!

  14. For the last 2 1/2 years, my husband and I have been taking care of his mother who is 97. She has dementia and could no longer live on her own. We moved her here (Michigan) from Arizona. She is truly the sweetest person on earth and I could not put her in a home. Well, for the entire year of 2014 we put our lives on hold, missing out on seeing our grandchildren and doing things with my family, like reunions and birthdays. We have now decided it is time to put her in a home, (she can’t be left alone for a minute)! This year we celebrate our 15 year anniversary and we have several mini vacations planned through out the year including two trips to Kansas to see our Grandchildren. I plan on using this kit to celebrating our life in 2015.

  15. Our favourite moment as a family in 2014 would have to have been seeing both our children kneeboard on their own at the dam. 2015 brings us exciting and new challenges as our eldest child starts school and we gear up for big changes. Looking forward to scrapping these moments!

  16. My mom died in 2014. She was sick for a couple years and I was her caregiver. She was my best friend and I’m lost without her. Getting all the pics I can find to document her life.

  17. Our darling twin Grand daughters turned 1 in December and their birthday party holds treasured memories as they trashed the cake decorations. A darling little Grandson will be entering our lives at the end of May 2015. Life is very fulfilling for us with lots of occasions/milestones to be lovingly added to my albums for treasured memories of those we love.

  18. First off, let me say that 2014 was an amazing year! My family and I had many wonderful experiences. A memory that I will include in my Year Noted layout is my daughter winning All American Cheerleader. It is such a special memory because her and I got to fly to Houston and she marched in the Thanksgiving parade. We had so much fun and I will always treasure that time with her. For 2015, I’m looking forward to my wedding anniversary. This year I will be married to the man of my dreams for 15 years! 2014 was a great year but I know 2015 will be even better! I’m looking forward to creating many memories with my husband and children. I wish everyone else to also have a wonderful year!

  19. 2014 will hold many precious memories for our family but the most vivid will be the Weddings of two of our children who got married 7 weeks apart. Both occasions saw our family and friends from around the world and interstate get together to celebrate these two very special occasions. Watching my children say their vows and marry their best friends made me so proud and being able to use the Year Noted Kit in some of the Scrapbook Layouts will be fantastic.

  20. This past summer we spent time with my dad’s family, it felt like old times. Everyone’s families are growing so much and way too fast. This year I look forward to my youngest daughter graduating from high school and my oldest graduating from college. Wow, what a year it is going to be.

  21. In 2014 we had a bad water leak in our house, it totally trashed my scrapbook room which was right under where the water was coming from! All is repaired, I moved my scrapbook room upstairs where it is safe. Also, I’m hoping to become a grandmother in 2015!

  22. In 2015 my sisters and I will be taking our Dad to see the World War II museum in New Orleans for his 90th birthday.

  23. Big chances coming my way this year are a new job and moving to another province. I’m looking forward to recording these moments in a Year Noted mini book.

  24. I ran my first marathon in September of 2014 with my cousin Drew (one of many bucket list items before celebrating my 40th birthday). I met so many awesomeand supportive people along the journey. Amazing!

  25. In January 2014, my husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary! We had planned a big celebration, but my appendix perforated, and I found myself in the hospital instead. We’re good sports (that’s why we’ve been together so long), so we had a good laugh about the timing and celebrated just being healthy and together!

  26. On June 29, 2014, my hubby and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. We took a week long trip to the 5 National Parks in southern Utah plus Las Vegas. What a memorable trip! I would love to win this kit to showcase all the pictures we took while out there. I love remembering the hot days out there, especially during the cold days right now here in Michigan! Thanks for a chance to win. 😀

  27. My only child, Max, joined the US Navy in 2014. I was a super proud Navy Mom when I attended his Recruit Training (Boot Camp) graduation ceremony! I can’t wait to put together all the pictures of my Sailor in his uniform in this cute mini album.

  28. In 2014 I turned the magical age of “65”. My first thoughts were my life is getting to an end but then I thought NO that’s not going to happen. My life is busy making cards for our soldiers, children in hospitals and all folks in nursing homes. I love my life and hope it doesn’t end for a very longtime. Life’s good it’s what you make it that makes it good.

  29. The highlight of 2014 was traveling to Las Vegas to attend my 40 year-old brother’s first wedding to a wonderful woman. Seeing him so happily married is a dream come true!

  30. my passion for scrapbooking is all for my kids and family. I can’t pick just one event because I have so many I wish to preserve , and this kit would be perfect. It’s such an adorable package. Thanks for giving all of us CTMH fans a chance to win such a nice paper and stamp set.

  31. 2014 was a big year for me and my family, I turned 30, my husband turned 35, we celebrated our 10 year anniversary and our oldest turned 8 and decided to be baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. We also finished paying off our van and are living debt free. 2015 looks to be pretty big too!
