Cards are about so much more than words inside pretty paper. They are a way to brighten someone’s day, to show you appreciate the way in which someone has touched your life, to acknowledge what someone does to make the world a better place. That’s what our Create Kindness card kit is all about—using cards to spread kindness, especially to those who may not expect it!

Here are some people that you may not normally think to give a card to but who would certainly appreciate some words of encouragement or an unexpected “thank you”:

  • Mailman
  • Barista
  • Babysitter
  • Housecleaner

  1. I would add my next door neighbour & also the people I meet in the street when I am on my usual morning walk!

  2. I would add my husband. He is an amazing husband, father and grandfather! I love leaving love notes for him to find – on his pillow, tucked in his computer bag and if I’m sneaky under the windshield wiper of his truck.

  3. I’d add my Spouse, too often my heart is thankful but in the busyness of life forget to say thank you often enough.
For faithfully going to work, providing for us and all that’s involved in living life. 😊💞

  4. This is very timely for me. I am doing #60randomactsofkindness prior to my upcoming 60th birthday. It isn’t on your list but I sent a card to my Dentist and staff today.

  5. My In-laws. They have been so helpful to us this past week with my girls, getting them from school to dance exams or vice versa. It’s great to be able to call on them when needs must and I think I will definitely hop on to it this weekend and create a card for them 🙂 <3

  6. I was down sick for about three weeks and after that my husband had to go in for a total knee replacement, our family and friends took good care of us. No matter what they had going on, they took the time to see to our needs. This is a good week to make cards to express our
    thanks.
