We can think of no better way to dress up a gift than with a personalized handmade tag, so we came up with a quick list of ideas to help up your tag-making game this season!
1. Cricut® Shapes
Select a few of your favorite shapes and let your Cricut® machine do the rest! If you need to make a large number of gift tags, using a Cricut® shape is an easy way to get it done.
2. Pocket Cards
If you have extra pocket cards, try trimming them into a gift tag. Your pocket cards can become the base paper or even the sentiment!
3. Cut Above® Tag Kit
This kit was designed for tag making! Pair these tags with different ribbons, embellishments, and sentiments to change their original look, and voila! You have beautifully unique tags for the beautifully unique people receiving them.
Make use of any extra complements you have by sticking them on gift tags!
5. Stamping on Scraps
We all have scraps of paper lying around from bigger projects we’ve worked on in preparation for the holidays. Instead of throwing it away (or hoarding it! J) turn your scraps into little gift tags with some fun stamps and ribbons!
Who knew that so much cuteness could fit into such small pieces of paper! Make your gift giving that much more special this season with some personalized handmade tags!

Over the next few months, we’ll be heading to some Pinners Conferences across the US to showcase beautiful artwork, teach crafting classes, and spread the word about our company and mission.
Since we can’t bring you all with us (though we sure wish we could!), we thought we’d bring the beautiful artwork to YOU right here on the blog! We hope it inspires you and lights a smile on your face.
Here is the artwork for one of the classes we’ll be teaching. Memory keeping is at the core of what we do, so we want to show others there are so many different ways to preserve their memories in addition to traditional scrapbooking.
Our other class will let attendees play with flowers from our Cricut® Flower Market collection, as they make these fun gift items:
In addition to our classes, we’ll also be putting tons of beautiful artwork on display for everyone to see, including unique gift ideas to show someone you care…
Mini albums for those just getting started with memory keeping…
And, of course, traditional scrapbook pages.
To top it all off, we created a one-of-a-kind banner, which would be wonderful for a party or a nursery.
Whatever type of papercrafting you enjoy, we hope you’ve found this artwork to be inspiring. We’re sure it’ll catch more than a few eyes at the conferences we’ll be attending, but we especially hope that everyone who sees it will understand that what we do is so much more than an art form—it’s a way of building and celebrating relationships.

Yesterday we had our traditional Staff Appreciation Breakfast, catered by the endearing Waffle Love food truck. The sight of this colorfully painted truck pulling into our parking lot was more than enough to brighten our day! Our mouths started watering just thinking about the crispy sweetness and creamy decadence of the waffles inside the truck. They are so yummy! In my perfect world, they would bring the corporate office breakfast every day.It was wonderful to spend a beautiful March morning enjoying these fantastic waffles with my Close To My Heart family. These great people work so hard to keep the company running at its best, and I love to show them my appreciation in ways that are fun for everyone. And where there are waffles, there are always smiles.
There were some great memories shared together yesterday morning. I believe that all good things in life are better when they’re shared—including birthdays. And guess what? Today just so happens to be mine! It’s hard to believe that March 27 has come around again, but I’m so excited that it has. Birthdays are a beautiful gift and a touching reminder of the past years of life we’ve been blessed with—ups, downs, and everything in between.
This year I want to share my birthday with each of you in an extra special way: I want to be the one who gives the presents! I’ll be giving away 10 special birthday bundles that each contain a Workshops on the Go® Blossom Cardmaking Kit and the four ink pads you’ll need to make the cards, which are Archival Black Exclusive Inks™ Pad, Honey Exclusive Inks™ Pad, Pear Exclusive Inks™ Pad, and the Smoothie Exclusive Inks™ Pad.Leave a comment below for your chance to win! We’ll select 4 commenters from the blog, 3 from Facebook, and 3 from Instagram. Comment in all three places to increase your chances! We’ll announce the winners on the blog on Tuesday, March 31.
So I guess what I should really say is happy birthday to YOU! May the year ahead be full of blessings.
